GrowSmart Control

GrowSmart Control (The RJ11 jack is only a placeholder in this picture.)

Description

The two most important factors for healthy plant growth and good yields are controlling their light cycle and the environment, and that is the task of GrowSmart Control.

GrowSmart Core evaluates all sensor data and schedules, and then uses GrowSmart Control to adjust the fan speed or switch your lights on and off via a standardized 0-10V signal.

Assembly

The heat set inserts are used for the M3x5 bolts to hold the DAC in place, and for the M3x16 bolts to close the case, and the RJ45 and RJ11 jacks are held in place by the lid.

Wiring of the I2C connection is done with the cable that comes with the DAC, but the two 0-10V connections need to be crimped by yourself.

Consult the documentation of your fan and lamp manufacturers for the pinout that matches your devices - but as it is pretty standardized, here are the pinouts that work for me:

Fan Pinout: Fan Pinout

LED Pinout: LED Pinout
