GrowSmart Hub

Description​

The GrowSmart Hub provides the physical connection between all components. It is basically a dumb Ethernet hub, connecting all RJ45 ports to the same pins. The first version was based on a 6-port PCB, but as that turned out to be insufficient for the amount of connections that GrowSmart needs, the new Hub9 version is mandatory for a full setup.

Smaller setups may still want to use the 6-port version, allowing up to 5 additional components to be connected to the GrowSmart Core, but as you may want to expand your setup later on, it is suggested to go with the 9-port version right away.

Assembly​

Asssembling either version of the GrowSmart Hub is rather easy, just melt the heat set inserts into the appropriate holes (which means: all of them), put the breakout board in place, close the case and screw the bolts in.
